GUIDELINES & INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION:

  1. SC/ST/OBC CANDIDATES OF OUTSIDE THE STATE OF WEST BENGAL SHALL BE TREATED AS GENERAL CATEGORY CANDIDATES.
  2. THERE WILL BE NO APPLICATION FEES FOR SUBMITTING THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM.
  3. THE MOBILE & EMAIL PROVIDED WILL TO BE VERIFIED WITH OTP
  4. PLEASE AVOID WAITING UNTIL THE LAST DAY TO SUBMIT YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION TO PREVENT ANY LAST-MINUTE RUSH.

  • APPLICANTS NEED TO PROVIDE PREFERENCES OF ADMISSION FOR COURSES IN MAIN CAMPUS, 2ND CAMPUS, KHALISHAMARI AND SELF-FINANCING EVENING.
  • MERIT LIST WILL BE PUBLISHED AS PER THE PREFERENCES GIVEN BY THE APPLICANTS.
  • ADMISSION INTO DIFFERENT COURSES WILL BE STRICTLY BASED ON MERIT AND RESERVATION CRITERIA.
  • PUBLICATION OF NAMES IN THE MERIT LIST DOES NOT NECESSARILY ASSURE THE RIGHT OF ADMISSION IN THE APPLIED COURSE.
  • HONOURS GRADUATES WHO HAVE PASSED IN THE YEAR 2022, 2023 & 2024 ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR ADMISSION. [Except MLIS, BLIS, LL.M (One Year) & LL.M (Human Rights And Duties Education) (However, preference will be given to the candidates of the latest academic session for LL.M Course)]
  • IN CASE OF ANY DISCREPANCY FOUND DURING AND/OR AFTER THE VERIFICATION, THE CANDIDATURE OF THE CONCERNED CANDIDATE WILL BE CANCELLED SUMMARILY AND ADMISSION FEES WILL BE FORFEITED.

The ratio for Home University (CBPBU) students and Other University students shall be in the ratio of 80:20. However, the unfilled Other University Seats, if any, will be filled up by the Home University (CBPBU) students and vice-versa.
