The candidates are required to upload the scanned copies of:

FORM SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
POST GRADUATION / BLIS COURSE
  1. Passport Size Colour Photo. (100 KB)
  2. Scan copy of Signature. (100 KB)
  3. Final Examination MarkSheet. (100 KB)
  4. Caste Certificate (100 KB) (if applicable)
  5. PwD Certificate (100 KB) (if applicable)
  6. Sports/N.C.C(C) Certificate (100 KB) (if applicable)

GUIDELINES & INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION:

  1. SC/ST/OBC CANDIDATES OF OUTSIDE THE STATE OF WEST BENGAL SHALL BE TREATED AS GENERAL CATEGORY CANDIDATES.
  2. DOCUMENTS RELATED TO SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B [OF THE STATE OF WEST BENGAL] AND FOR PERSON WITH DISABILITY (PWD MUST BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH FILLED-IN APPLICATION FORM, FAILING WHICH NO CLAIM IN THIS REGARD WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
  3. THERE WILL BE NO APPLICATION FEES FOR SUBMITTING THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM FOR PG & BLIS COURSES ONLY.
  4. THE MOBILE & EMAIL PROVIDED WILL TO BE VERIFIED WITH OTP
  5. A VALID ABC ID (https://www.abc.gov.in/) IS MANDATORY FOR APPLICATION
  6. PLEASE AVOID WAITING UNTIL THE LAST DAY TO SUBMIT YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION TO PREVENT ANY LAST-MINUTE RUSH.

  • APPLICANTS NEED TO PROVIDE PREFERENCES OF ADMISSION FOR COURSES IN MAIN CAMPUS, 2ND CAMPUS, KHALISHAMARI AND SELF-FINANCING EVENING.
  • MERIT LIST WILL BE PUBLISHED AS PER THE PREFERENCES GIVEN BY THE APPLICANTS.
  • ADMISSION INTO DIFFERENT COURSES WILL BE STRICTLY BASED ON MERIT AND RESERVATION CRITERIA.
  • PUBLICATION OF NAMES IN THE MERIT LIST DOES NOT NECESSARILY ASSURE THE RIGHT OF ADMISSION IN THE APPLIED COURSE.
  • HONOURS GRADUATES WHO HAVE PASSED IN THE YEAR 2023, 2024 & 2025 ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR ADMISSION. [Except MLIS, BLIS, LL.M (One Year) & LL.M (Human Rights And Duties Education) (However, preference will be given to the candidates of the latest academic session for LL.M Course)]
  • PERSONS WORKING IN GOVT./SEMI-GOVT./PUBLIC SECTOR UNDERTAKING MUST APPLY THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL. A NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE FROM THE PRESENT EMPLOYER SHALL BE ATTACHED.
  • IN CASE OF ANY DISCREPANCY FOUND DURING AND/OR AFTER THE VERIFICATION, THE CANDIDATURE OF THE CONCERNED CANDIDATE WILL BE CANCELLED SUMMARILY AND ADMISSION FEES WILL BE FORFEITED.
  • THE UNIVERSITY SHALL RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE PROCESS OF ADMISSION TO PG / BLIS / MLIS / M.PHIL. / PH.D. COURSE WORK PROGRAMME OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED SUBJECT(S) WITHOUT SHOWING ANY REASON WHATSOEVER.

The ratio for Home University (CBPBU) students and Other University students shall be in the ratio of 80:20. However, the unfilled Other University Seats, if any, will be filled up by the Home University (CBPBU) students and vice-versa.
