In continuation of our earlier notification vide Ref. No.: F194.V5/REG/1540-25, dated 22.09.2025 and F194.V5/REG/1563-25, dated 23.09.2025, it is hereby notified for general information to all concerned, especially those who have applied through the online platform for PG & BLIS Courses under the Academic Session 2025-26 (Phase-II), that the MOP-UP COUNSELLING will now be held on 30.10.2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon for the subjects mentioned below.
NEW ADMISSION NOTIFICATION: CERTIFICATE / DIPLOMA / PG DIPLOMA COURSES (SELF-FINANCE)
Applications for the various PG Diploma, Diploma & Certificate courses are open from 22.09.2025 till 29.10.2025.
NOTIFICATION MOP-UP COUNSELLING POSTPONED
In reference to our earlier notification vide Ref. No.: F194.V5/REG/1540-25, dated 22.09.2025, and in accordance with Memo No. 699-HED-17014(99)/186/2025-CS SEC, dated 23.09.2025, issued by the Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal, College Sponsored Branch, it is hereby notified for general information of all concerned, the MOP-UP COUNSELLING stands postponed.

It is hereby notified for general information to all concerned, especially those who have applied through the online platform for PG & BLIS Courses under the Academic Session 2025-26 (Phase-II), that an MOP-UP COUNSELLING will be held on 24.09.2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon for the subjects mentioned below.
RET Written Re-Examination (Geography)
In reference to the Notification vide Ref. No. F169.V2/REG/1497-25 dated 19.09.2025 it is hereby notified for information to all concerned that the following is the list of candidates have to appear Research Eligibility Test (RET) Written Re-Examination, 2025 in Geography on 22.09.2025 at 12:00 Noon onwards in Department of Geography.
Notice regarding Scheduled Downtime of the Server
It is hereby notified for information to all concerned that, as per the notification received from the Data Centre Team, a scheduled server downtime has been allotted for server relocation from 20th September 2025, 07:00 P.M. to 21 st September 2025, 10:00 A.M. During the said period, the server may remain inaccessible for all online applications associated with CBPBU.

In reference to the earlier Admission Notification (Academic Session 2025-26) vide Ref. No.: F194.V5/REG/1168-25, dated 07.08.2025, it is hereby notified for all concerned that the University Authority will re-open the admission portal for the vacant seats from 09.09.2025 to 14.09.2025 for fresh applications to the following courses: M.A. (Main Campus & Second Campus) / M.Sc. / M.Com. / LL.M. / BLIS / M.A. (Evening Self-Finance).
Notification Regarding RET Examination and Issue of Admit Card
The Provisional Admit Cards for RET Examination for admission to various PhD course work have been published. The candidates can login and download/print their Admit Cards.
Document Verification Notification
It is hereby notified for information to all concerned that the DOCUMENT VERIFICATION of original documents of those students who will be admitted by 01.09.2025 to 02.09.2025 (as per 4th Admission List) in M.A./M.Sc./M.Com./LL.M./BLIS for the academic session 2025-2026 will be held on 04.09.2025 at the concerned Department as per the schedule in the notice below.

The ratio for Home University (CBPBU) students and Other University students shall be in the ratio of 80:20. However, the unfilled Other University Seats, if any, will be filled up by the Home University (CBPBU) students and vice-versa. |
